Inspired by my trips abroad, I became a big fan of handmade, one-off jewellery, but couldn’t find anything in Ireland that echoed the jewellery available on the continent & further afield.  So when I took a career break a few years ago, I decided to try my hand at making my own jewellery.  I took to it immediately & it wasn’t long before I set up my own crafting business.

I am constantly inspired by the fresh tones & endless colour combinations offered by the seas & scenery in Ireland, & this is reflected in the jewellery I offer.  I also wanted to offer something unique, with a nod to retro, vintage & kitsch styles, while still being contemporary & appealing to today’s jewellery fans.  To that end, Peppermint offers contemporary handmade beaded costume jewellery, also freshwater pearls, gemstone (semi-precious) jewellery & sterling silver elements.
