Bia Lover Trader Application

June 17th to 18th 2017

The center piece of the 4rd Bia Lover Festival will once again be the Producers Market to be held in Athenry Park in front of the medieval Athenry Castle.

Bia Lover has a total of 60 exhibitor stalls with at least 25 places reserved for Galway producers/traders; the remainder are available to quality regional & national producers/traders. Please note that stalls will be allocated based on application.

Information to be sent with this application form:

  1. A full description of your products and photographs of your food stall. (Please email photos in jpg or png format)
  2. Insurance Policy Copy (Public Liability, Employers Liability, Product Liability)
  3. HSE registration (where relevant)
  4. Organic Certification (where relevant)

The criteria that each trader must meet and sign up to before being considered for the food market are as follows:

  1. Traders must be set up and ready to trade by 10:00am on both days and must remain in place until 6:00pm.
  2. Traders must have all vehicles removed from site by 9:00am.
  3. All certs must be received with application - insurance (€6.5 million public liability), organic certification (where relevant) and HSE approval.
  4. Traders must comply with all relevant food, health, safety and fire regulations.
  5. Traders must produce, or add value to, everything they are selling.
  6. Traders must supply their own cooking and refrigeration equipment along with utensils and packaging if required.
  7. Stalls must be manned by someone familiar with the products on sale.
  8. Electrical appliances to be used MUST be specified on the application form.
  9. Space will be allocated by the organisers in the overall best interest of the event.
  10. We aim to create a real market feel and with this in mind we reserve the right to restrict the number of stallholders in a particular product category in order to ensure that a wide variety of food is on offer.
  11. All decisions regarding participation at the food market are entirely at the discretion of the organisers.
  12. No Tea or Coffee to be sold, except by the organisers.
